![]() (SUBMITTED PHOTO) The recent Roncalli High School canned-food drive is a record-breaker, according to English teacher and Student Council moderator Ryan Costelllo, standing. Ninety percent of students and staff took part in the drive. A total of 7,022 food items were collected, along with $32,947.81 for a combined total of $36,458.81. The total of money and cans collected would equal 72,918 cans, surpassing last year’s total. Costello said that it was “inspiring to see everyone step up to the challenge.” will be distributed to local food pantries that serve the Indianapolis community.

Christian recording artist Kathy Troccoli will perform at a free public concert Tuesday, Oct. 8 at 7 p.m., at Roncalli High School.
Troccoli will be accompanied by two Roncalli choirs and each South Deanery grade school will be represented during her performance. Patrons must have a ticket for Troccoli’s performance in the performing arts auditorium. Tickets are available in the main office at Roncalli, 3300 Prague Road, daily from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Seating is limited. |
