To the editor:
The much-needed infrastructure work is continuing in our beautiful city of Beech Grove.
The Bellefontaine Street paving project has been completed, and we can all agree it’s a major improvement.
As you may have noticed, Bethel Avenue from Emerson Avenue to Sherman Drive is being repaved, as is Southern Avenue from Bethel to Churchman Avenue. What a blessing this is for our city. These projects are being paid for by Indianapolis.
A special thanks goes to Frank Mascari, our Indianapolis City-County councilor for District 20. His good work is the reason that Bethel and Southern avenues are being repaved.
We recently improved the sanitary sewers along St. Francis Drive, Ticen Court and Britton Drive and will soon start on another program in five areas. This will further help us in minimizing storm and ground water from entering the sanitary sewer system along with the penetration of tree roots.
I am proud of the work being done.
