SUBMITTED PHOTO St. Roch Grade School’s junior Spell Bowl team has won its third straight state title in the Indiana Association of School Principals Spell Bowl. Led by coaches Mary Ann Chamberlin and Carol Golden, the team correctly spelled 69 out of 72 words and won by an impressive six words before a standing-room-only crowd Nov. 15 at Purdue University’s Loeb Playhouse. “Winning this championship three years in a row is a huge thrill,” Chamberlin said. “This was our highest score ever, and coach Golden and I are so proud of our spellers.
