![]() SUBMITTED PHOTOS Back-to-school night at Beech Grove High was celebrated with a mini-concert from the school band and words from Principal Steve Cox and Superintendent Paul Kaiser. Parents visited with teachers, including art educator Kate Weller (above, from left), who’s seen with Ellen West and daughter Emily, a junior. The school’s PTO provided cookies and other treats, which were distributed by Amy Brown and April McManus to those needing a sugar boost.

![]() SUBMITTED PHOTOS Nativity Catholic Church recently held its annual parish festival, known as Augustravaganza. Children enjoyed carnival rides, games and fair-style food while adults participated in a 5K run, played bingo, listened to music and socialized.
