SUBMITTED PHOTOS Nearly 60 students at Beech Grove High were honored April 17 for attaining at least one of the four A’s – achievement, attitude, attendance and academics – in the school’s Renaissance program. The honorees, who received mementos from the Alumni Association, the Fire Department and Rosebud Flowers, and members of their families were treated to a buffet breakfast. The program, part of a national clearinghouse of more than 2,000 schools that have developed programs to bolster education, is supported in part by the Beech Grove Lions Club, which made a donation at the breakfast. On hand for the presentation were (below, from left) Ron Ayris, Don Stowers, Principal Steve Cox and Norm Woods.
