I had always attended a public school until last year, and we didn’t celebrate anything there that had to do with God.
Here at SS. Francis & Clare we start every day with prayer. Our whole week is about helping people, thanking people and loving one another.
A few of my favorite things about school are my friends, Faith in Action Days and Catholic Schools Week.

We do not sit at desks. Our teachers let us sit with our friends. We get to learn about God and go to Mass.

My school means friendship and family – family because teachers teach us like we are their children; friendship because everyone is a friend.
One thing we do is brain breaks. A brain break is when we go out-side to rest our brains and get ready to learn.
– Jane Levine
fourth-grader
I think going to SS. Francis & Clare is great because we get to write prayers on sticky notes.

My school means family and fun to me. I can’t wait to wake up and go to school every day because I like all of our activities.
We are a family because when we have Faith in Action we work together and come together to help people.
