(SUBMITTED PHOTO) The Indianapolis Public Library’s “Jingle Books 2019” campaign is under way, following its launch at Central Library. Making the initial book donations into the “Jingle Books” receiving box are, from left, Lindsay Szostak of Sondhi Solutions, Library CEO Jackie Nytes, Indianapolis Deputy Mayor Angela Smith-Jones, and Jennifer Malins from Indy Reads. They donated the first books of the campaign that helps ensure that every child receives the gift of reading this month. “Jingle Books” displays are available at all Indianapolis Public Library branches where patrons can select children’s books from display boxes to take home. Library visitors also can donate new or gently used books by dropping them into the boxes. Free gift-wrapping stations are at most sites. During its first five years, “Jingle Books” has provided more than 7,000 books for local children.
