Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre’s 2015 season will open with “The Odd Couple” on Sunday. The production stars two of Beef & Boards’ favorite funnymen. Jeff Stockberger plays Oscar Madison, a divorced, easygoing and irresponsible sports writer, while Eddie Curry plays Felix Unger, the neurotic neat freak whose marriage is on the rocks. In an effort to help out his buddy, Oscar suggests that Felix should move in with him – and the results are nothing short of hilarious. The popularity of Neil Simon’s famous play has endured 50 years, with multiple revivals and adaptations on the big and small screen – including an upcoming CBS series. Tickets range from $40 to $65 and include a buffet dinner. Discounts are available for children ages 3-15 and groups of 20 or more. A show schedule is posted at www.beefandboards.com, and tickets are available by calling 872-9664. A special New Year’s Eve performance includes dinner, party favors, live music, a balloon drop, a champagne toast and a breakfast buffet. Tickets are $82.50. |
