The program will feature a variety of styles, from jazz, blues and musical theater to rock, rhythm and blues and 1980s favorites. Performers will include The Indianapolis Municipal Band (July 4), Deb Mullins (July 6), My Yellow Rickshaw (July 13) and Living Proof (July 27).
In addition to the free concerts, the Eugene and Marilyn Glick Indiana History Center will offer free admission and extended hours July 4 and concert Thursdays, which run through July.
Seating is available along the grassy area along the Canal Walk. People can purchase seating in tables of eight for $50. Guests are welcome to bring food and nonalcoholic beverages.
