Advent and Christmas Music
Vox Sacra, a group from the Archdiocese of Indianapolis that only sings in Gregorian chant, is hosting a concert of Advent and Christmas music by Gabrieli, Hassler, Lauridsen, Kodaly and others at 7 p.m. Friday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 1530 Union St.
Licenses Branches Will Close for Holidays
All Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles license branches will be closed Friday through Monday in observance of the Christmas holiday. In addition, all branches will be closed from Saturday, Dec. 31, through Monday, Jan. 2, in observance of New Year’s Day.
Food Drive Runs Through Christmas Eve
The ninth annual 12 Days of Christmas Food Drive to benefit St. Vincent de Paul’s pantry continues through Christmas Eve. The event is being sponsored by former IndyCar driver and Speedway Indoor Karting owner Sarah Fisher and her husband, Andy O’Gara. Donations of nonperishable canned and boxed food can be dropped off at O’Gara’s Irish Pub, 522 Main St., Beech Grove, and at Lamping Cleaners: 1625 Main St., 3939 S. Keystone Ave. and 4030 S. Emerson Ave.
