The Strikes for Kids Indy Bowling Classic and auction will be held from 6:30-9 p.m. Monday, Dec. 1, at Expo Bowl, 5261 Elmwood Ave. The registration fee is $40 per bowler or $200 for a lane up to six bowlers. The cost includes three games, shoe rental, a bowling shirt and bag, one pizza per lane and pitcher of soda. Proceeds will help four area high school seniors to purchase textbooks during their freshman year of college. Financial Center Collecting Canned Goods
Financial Center Federal Credit Union’s branches at 20 N. Emerson Ave., Greenwood, and 1301 E. Stop 11 Road are participating in Fox 59’s Pack the Pantries canned food drive. Donations can be dropped off during regular business hours through Dec. 14. All contributions will be donated to the Midwest Food Bank, which serves as a distribution center for several area pantries.
Washington High School Alums Hosting Christmas Luncheon
Washington High School’s 50-year Club will host its annual Christmas luncheon at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 10, at Primo Banquet Hall & Conference Center, 2615 National Ave. The cost is $17.50, and all alumni are welcome.
