The 104th Indianapolis Auto Show opens Tuesday, Dec. 26, for a seven-day run at the Indiana Convention Center, where 21 car manufacturers from around the world will display their 2018 models and speciality vehicles. Also featured will be the Air Force X-1 Supercar, an interactive experience that showcases careers in the Air Force. A blood drive will take place during the show, and donors can register by visiting www.indianablood.org/indyautoshow.

New Year’s Eve Party
Greenwood Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5864, 333 S. Washington St., will host a New Year’s Eve party from 6 p.m.-1 a.m. The evening will feature a Mardi Gras theme, and revelers can dress in any manner they choose. Tickets are $25 and include a strip steak dinner, live music from The Luke-Carol Project Band, party favors, a champagne toast and biscuits and gravy after the new year rolls in. BMV Branches Will Close For the Holidays
All Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicle branches will be closed Saturday-Tuesday in observance of Christmas. In addition, all sites will be closed Dec. 30-Jan. 1 for the new year’s holiday.
Holiday Hours for Ice Rink
Perry Park Ice Arena, 451 E. Stop 11 Road, has announced its holiday hours: noon-2 p.m. and 3-5 p.m. Mondays-Thursdays (closed Chrismas Eve and day; noon-2, 3-5 and 6-8 p.m. Fridays; 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Saturdays; and noon-2 and 3-5 p.m. Sundays. The rink will be open New Year’s Eve and day. Admission per session is $5 per child, $6 per adult; skate rental is an additional $3. Info: 317-888-0070.
Libraries Will Close for the Holidays
All Indianapolis Public Library locations will be closed Sunday and Monday in observance of Christmas.
With the exception of InfoZone (open from 10 a.m.-5 p.m.) in The Children’s Museum, 3000 N. Meridian St., all libraries will be closed New Year’s Day.
