The Indy Near South Christian Women’s Club is holding a buffet luncheon and quilt show from noon-1:45 p.m. Wednesday, July 12, at Dye’s Walk Country Club, 2080 S. State Road 135, Greenwood. National Night Out
National Night Out, a celebration designed to heighten crime prevention awareness while strengthening community camaraderie, will take place Tuesday, Aug. 1. Any neighborhood or apartment community can hold a successful National Night Out. The key is to unite residents and encourage ongoing communication. Baxter YMCA Will Host Golf Outing
Baxter YMCA will host a golf outing Thursday, Sept. 7, at Dye’s Walk Country Club, 2080 S. State Road 135, Greenwood. The cost is $400 per foursome and includes lunch, beverages and snacks. The course has a little history behind it as the back nine was built in the early 1960s by renowned architects Pete and Alice Dye.
