![]() A colorful, captivating musical that features such charming characters as Dorothy (played by Christina Thibodeau), the Scarecrow (Andrew Dunbar), the Tin Man (Sarah Deitz) and the Cowardly Lion (Tim Eacret), “The Wizard of Oz” will staged this weekend by Lutheran High School. Patrons will swirl through the air with Dorothy and Toto to a land “somewhere over the rainbow” and discover that there is “no place like home.” It’s there that Dorothy will travel through the twists and turns of the Yellow Brick Road with her new friends to meet the wonderful Wizard of Oz. Before her friends’ respective wishes of a brain, a heart and courage can be granted though, the Wicked Witch (Sarah Johnson) must be dealt with. Other cast members include Chaslyn Shiels, Amber Roth and Abigail Pikulik Dunbar. The Munchkins are played by pupils from area middle schools. Curtain time is 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, 2 p.m. Sunday at the school’s Ruth Lilly Auditorium, 5555 S. Arlington Ave. Ticket, $5 for students, $10 for adults, are available at the door.
